JOB SUMMARY:
Plans, directs, and coordinates project and site quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with the CCC Quality Manual, approved project quality plans, contract requirements, engineering documents, applicable codes and standards, owner requirements, and jurisdictional requirements. Provides leadership for inspection, testing, documentation, auditing, nonconformance control, turnover, and continuous improvement. Has authority, within the approved quality program and assigned scope, to accept or reject work and to stop or place work on hold when quality requirements are not satisfied. Leads the implementation and consistent application of the Quality Management System for one large project, multiple medium projects, or an assigned region. Supports ASME and National Board quality programs, including NBIC R-Stamp repair activities, when applicable.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible quality control, welding, inspection, or industrial construction experience encompassing field and/or shop environments and multiple construction disciplines. A minimum of three (3) years of quality leadership or supervisory experience is preferred. Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required when the assigned scope includes primary responsibility for welding quality control. Additional certifications related to the assigned scope, such as ACI, ASNT/NDE, API, coatings, bolting, boiler, pressure vessel, or other discipline-specific credentials, are preferred or may be required by the project. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing project quality plans, ITPs, inspection systems, audits, nonconformance controls, and turnover documentation is required. Experience supporting ASME and National Board quality programs, including NBIC R-Stamp repair activities, is required when assigned responsibility for Code work.
Per Diem $900 / Week Work Schedule 58 Hours / Week
