Journey-Level & Foreman Bolt-Up Pipefitters | $120/Day Per Diem | Richmond, VA Pay: $30–$38/hour (Journey-Level) | $39–$42/hour (Foreman), DOE Per Diem: $120/day for qualified travelers Hours: Up to 60 hours/week Duration: 12+ months Experience Levels: Journey-Level, Foreman Project Type: Commercial Data Center Construction Location: Richmond, VA Job Overview Kodiak Labor Solutions is hiring Journey-Level and Foreman Bolt-Up Pipefitters for a long-term commercial data center project in Richmond, Virginia. With 12+ months of work, up to 60 hours per week, and $120/day per diem for qualified travelers, this is steady work on a large-scale build. Local and traveling candidates are welcome, and openings are available immediately. What You'll Do Read and interpret piping isometric drawings and fabrication blueprints Fit and assemble carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems Measure, lay out, and align piping components to specification Assemble prefabricated pipe spools, holding proper dimensions and fit-up Install and align flanges, elbows, tees, reducers, valves, and other piping components Confirm all assemblies are plumb, level, and square Maintain proper weld gaps and prepare assemblies for welding Run quality checks to confirm assemblies meet drawing specifications Keep a safe, clean, and organized work area Journey-Level Qualifications 3+ years of pipefitting experience Carbon steel pipe fitting experience required Stainless steel pipe experience preferred Pipe fabrication shop experience strongly preferred Able to read and interpret piping isometric drawings independently Working knowledge of swing joints and rolling offsets required Strong pipe layout, measuring, and fabrication skills Accurate with tape measures, levels, squares, and standard pipefitting tools Reliable attendance and able to work scheduled overtime Foreman Qualifications All Journey-Level qualifications, plus: 5+ years of commercial or industrial pipefitting experience Experience leading a pipefitting crew and managing daily productivity Strong communication with supervision, general contractors, and other trades Per Diem Eligibility To qualify for per diem, travelers must: Maintain a permanent residence more than 60 miles from the jobsite Work the full scheduled shift each day Why Kodiak 12+ months of steady, long-term project work Overtime available, up to 60 hours per week $120/day per diem for qualified travelers Immediate openings and a fast hiring process
What you’ll bring
